Hoxsey: How Healing
Becomes a Crime

In 1924, Harry Hoxsey, a miner with no education beyond elementary school, claims to have received a mandate from his dying father: He is to take their family's revolutionary formula for an herbal cancer cure and treat any patient who comes to him for help, regardless of income or ability to pay. When Hoxsey opens his first cancer treatment clinic, his surprising claims gain him the national spotlight -- and the scrutiny of skeptical investigators at the nascent American Medical Association.
